— The Book

Happy New Year!

We hope that you all had a lovely Christmas break. To kick start the New Year we have some glad tidings: the book is ready! We have shipped it back to London and, in fact, we have already dispatched a few copies to those of you who were quick to confirm their addresses. It feels great!

"Children of Zanskar" was hand-stitched and bound together by the tireless craftsmen at Szymanscy Poligraphy, who specialise in high-quality photobooks—and it really shows. Front and back cover photographs were attached by hand into an embossed rectangular frame. The titles were hot-pressed into the spine with rose-gold foil. Here are a few shots from their busy workshop in Warsaw:

We have now begun fulfilling all Kickstarter orders, so please make sure you check your inboxes and help us verify your addresses. We would love to hear from you once you get the book, and we sincerely hope that you will agree with us: it was worth the wait!
